Pullman Melbourne On The Park

“Although slightly removed from the CBD, this is still a great location, next to Fitzroy Gardens and a stone's throw from the MCG. I stayed on the 20th floor, where I had excellent views of the stadium. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I didn't spend much time in the 18th floor lounge but it looked like a nice relaxing place to have a quiet drink or get some emails done. The Cliveden Bar on the ground floor is a great place for a pre-dinner drink... or a nightcap. I had both..!! The best part of the stay though was the breakfast. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and this was of excellent quality. The service could also not be faulted, from check-in all the way through to check-out. The only minor knock is the rattling noise of the trains outside. Jolimont station is literally across the street and the clattering comes straight through the walls - even on the 20th floor. If it wasn't for that, this would have been a 10/10.”

“Had the pleasure of a beautiful overnight stay to visit the magnificent MCG. Luna on reception was superb, friendly and efficient and William was helpful upon checkout to assist me with exiting the car park. Had a superior room overlooking the MCG. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. I slept 8 hours in a very comfortable bed. I highly recommend the property and their staff are excellent. I can't wait to return. “The room was nice, and the view facing the parkland was lovely. However, there were some tiny black flies in the room—I managed to kill a few. The noise from the train was a bit disturbing, especially since the first train passes by around 4:30 am. If you’re sensitive to sound like me (I wore earplugs but could still hear it), I’d recommend avoiding rooms facing the train station/parkland. Otherwise, everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good with all the basic options—you really can’t fault them.”

“Stayed here for a concert, the reception staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were quite nice but the water from shower was either boiling or cold and took ages to get right, standing in the shower waiting for a good minute for the right water temp wasn’t ideal. Also it’s kinda awkward reaching for the toilet paper from behind the loo.not sure why it’s placed there when there is ample space along the vanity. Also please tell the staff at the buffet breakfast (which was superb) not to take full cups of coffee away or just attempt to take plates away while people are still eating it, very unprofessional”

“I have stayed here once, many years ago. And just spent 2 nights here again. The location is perfect. Close enough to the city without being amongst the hustle. The rooms are immaculately appointed. Clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. Also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food and service was amazing. Everything from check in to check out was seamless and perfect. Special thanks and mention to Luna at reception for her lovely manner and helpfulness. She was an absolute joy to deal with. “To whom it may concern, I booked a suite in May for my daughter’s wedding, a special thankyou to Rosanne who was extremely helpful and ensured everything was well organised including the parking. On the day the staff were excellent and very attentive, providing extra furniture and champagne glasses. We had a very special day and the makeup artist said it was the best lighting she had experienced. “Pullman on the Park felt like a true 5-star stay. The hotel itself was excellent, but Andy the doorman really made the experience feel special. Friendly, professional, and the kind of service that leaves a lasting impression. The location is perfect if you’re heading to the MCG, and having a tram stop right out the front makes getting into the CBD easy. Onsite parking was simple and convenient, which made the stay even smoother. The daily room refresh was spot on and kept everything feeling clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, a great hotel in a great location, with standout service from Andy. Highly recommend.”
